This new session was of special interest to the delegates. The discussion resulted in two opinions on the matter – optimistic and pessimistic. The near future will show who was right and we will return to this topic at RAF 2017.
Purchasing directors of leading OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers took part in this session (which traditionally takes place of Day 3 of the Forum) answering questions on the need to create a purchasing consortium among OEMs in Russia and how to make localisation effective and profitable.
with purchasing directors from OEMs & Tier 1 suppliers, including seven purchasing specialists from AVTOVAZ-RENAULT-NISSAN Purchasing Organization, were the most popular networking format and unique to our event. RAF prides itself on delivering 300+ meetings which yield new contacts, business partnerships and contracts.
Always a hit and RAF 2016 was no exception!
Devoted to sub-sectors of the automotive industry: powertrain and transmission, stamping and forging, body & chassis and plastic parts, these sessions featured leading industry experts driving innovation and business optimisation within these groups of components.
This year the Russian Automotive Forum Award was renamed the Resilience Award, reflecting the current situation in the market.
